Lowe Art Breakthroughs (L.A.B.) Corp.

Art and cultural programming for community building.

About L.A.B.

Mission Statement:  Lowe Art Breakthroughs Corp. (L.A.B.) is a not-for-profit organization formulating breakthroughs in the interdisciplinary areas of art, education, culture, and wellness through integrative programming for community building, economic development and the crafting of balanced and sustainable environments.

Lowe Art Breakthroughs Corp. (L.A.B.) was formulated in 2024 to further developmental progress in the interdisciplinary areas of art, education, culture, inclusion and wellness for regional and national communities.  The Dr. Catherine Lowe Collection is part of the foundation that Lowe Art Breakthroughs is being built upon. To accomplish L.A.B.’s mission, we are creating programming and developing partnerships to serve our local communities with the hope of being able to extend our efforts outward.

Programs in the form of exhibitions, discussions, performances and workshops allows our communities to receive a direct benefit as well as assists participating creatives in achieving breakthroughs in their own development. Our goal is to generate opportunities for development, growth, innovation and progress for instructors as well as learners.  Programming gives artists and craftspersons with varying levels of expertise an opportunity to use their skills through demonstrations and instruction on principles related to the cooperative building of creative works. This includes interaction with community members at all levels of society to engage in art making and creative placemaking. Community engagement is a priority for active participation in the process of self-inclusion for ethnically diverse individuals and families in need of greater exposure to creative content.
